What Attracts People Attention?

Well the number one thing that really attracts people is sex. The 2nd other thing that also attract people is MONEY!

Basically if you know how to market money, you don’t have to chase it, it will come to you. And not many people are able to do that online or offline. In fact 90% of the population chooses not be their own boss and are still working an 8 to 5 job.
I guess it’s the education system that influences the huge percentage. If only schools do teach about setting business. At least it will give our children some ideas if they do choose to go that path.

In marketing basically you need to convince people that your product or services is good and customers will most likely to buy. When the Internet came around, I feel there are now more business people online then before.
One great example is EBay! There are thousands of people selling and buying online. Some even make $4 to $10k a month just by selling stuff there!
People are
setting up blogs to post about themselves to gain popularity and in turn some do make a huge profit out of it.

Overall for Internet related businesses, content and traffic are the most important aspect of online business. However, not many will be successful. Only a few who are willing to take action and focus on the objective will succeed.

The journey to success is always not far and it’s always there but just that many people just give up before they even succeed anything. It’s sad but true! =P

The Importance Of Comfort Zones

i Before I talk about comfort zone, do you know what comfort zone is at the first place? Here is my definition of comfort zone, it is getting yourself in a situation where you are totally new to it and feel a slight or sometimes high amount of stress from doing a task that you totally do not feel comfortable with.

Here’s a great example of what comfort zone is about. Imagine all your life, you never like to speak to people and hate to meet people. But you find out from successful speakers that in order for yourself to succeed in life you first have to be open enough to be proactive to know more people in order to be successful.

You decide that you want to take it slow and do not follow the advice that they give. You are actually putting yourself still in the Easy Zone. If you seriously wanted to believe in succeeding in life and you decided to be more proactive to know people you are actually in the Uncomfortable Zone.

I read a lot of books in the past and most self-development books have a common thing in them, they talk about teaching you how to be proactive and get out of your comfort zone to do something you normally will not do.

Why is it important to be able to get out of your comfort zone? If you do not get out of your comfort zone, how will you be able to model yourself with other successful people that have achieved things that you always yield for? You will not be able to learn new skills and mindsets if you do even attempt to try to get out of your comfort zone.

Let’s take a normal worker at work in his company. Having a diploma in computers, he draws a happy salary of about $2k a month. Working 8am to 5pm like all 90% of the world is doing. Getting no credit for overtime or time committed to the company that he is working for. Worst case, he was even been blame for helping the company from suffering a huge lost in the company. Do all these sounds familiar to you?

Let you ask you something, do you know what is the no.1 thing that most successful people have that you don’t? If you noticed all 10% of the wealthy people in the world all have business or investment and build passive assets.

What do normal 8 to 5pm workers have? NOTHING! Everyday, do nothing but work and work just to pay the monthly bills. Save little money every month and maybe spend on some leisure stuff and continue the whole cycle again. Do you want to be like this for all your life? Do you want to retire at a earlier stage of your life? Able to enjoy all the freedom that you want with your family and love ones?

If your answer if yes to all the question above I strongly encourage you to identify what are your comfort zones.

Basically there are only 2 types of zone that we encounter in our life. The Easy Zone and the Uncomfortable Zone.

Definition of Easy Zone

Anything task that you do that will not make you stress out and can be done easily.

Definition of Uncomfortable Zone

Basically it is the opposite of Easy Zone, which is any task that you do that you totally dislike and feel very uncomfortable with.

So how do you identify these zones? Well.. just follow these pointers in any task you do and you will know if you are doing something in which zones.

Q1. Is the task at hand an easy way out to completing the task?

Q2. Do you feel comfortable when doing the task at hand?

If your answers are YES to both questions, you are deciding on something that is actually AN EASY WAY OUT to the problem or task at hand which is the EASY ZONE.

Like wise if your answers are NO you are deciding on doing the task in a very uncomfortable manner.

In order for you to grow and be successful, always be in the Uncomfortable Zone. Why? Because when you try something you never try before and you go forward and just do it. You will LEARN and IMPROVE more.

Hard to believe? Well go try it for the next 3 days, and let me know here what you feel about it? =) I hope this article will help you in making decision in the future : )

Jokes!!

hi hi,

Firstly, i would like to wish u all a Happy 2007!! may all your wishes and blessings come true..

i'm currently doing a online course with NTU on Business Finance ( its some scheme by SAF la.. they give u $$ to take the course so y not.. i chose business finance because i thought it migh be useful when i take accountancy in uni in jul hahax ) then there were some business joke in the website.. ha so maybe can share it my blog so u guys can have a good laugh.. hahax.. but actually aint veri funny la... hmmm... maybe i'm such a uninteresting person... -shrugs- here go... enjoy!!!

1) Financial Analyst and Shepherd
Man walking along a road in the countryside comes across a shepherd and a huge flock of sheep. Tells the shepherd, "I will bet you $100 against one of your sheep that I can tell you the exact number in this flock." The shepherd thinks it over; it's a big flock so he takes the bet. "973," says the man. The shepherd is astonished, because that is exactly right. Says "OK, I'm a man of my word, take an animal." Man picks one up and begins to walk away.
"Wait," cries the shepherd, "Let me have a chance to get even. Double or nothing that I can guess your exact occupation." Man says sure. "You are a financial analyst for a bank," says the shepherd. "Amazing!" responds the man, "You are exactly right! But tell me, how did you deduce that?"
"Well," says the shepherd, "put down my dog and I will tell you."

2) Business Professor & Wedding Ring
A professor was about to get married. He went to the jewelers to get a wedding ring for his fiancee. The jeweler told him that he can have the inside of the ring engraved with the name of his fiancee for an additional $20. He said, "But that will reduce the resale value!" The jeweler was aghast. He said, "How can you say such a thing. You are a butcher!" "No," replied the professor, "I am a business finance speacialist"."

3) Fast Marriage Proposal
At a country-club party a young man was introduced to an attractive girl. Immediately he began paying her court and flattering her outrageously. The girl liked the young man, but she was taken a bit aback by his fast and ardent pitch. She was amazed when after 30 minutes he seriously proposed marriage. "Look," she said. "We only met a half hour ago. How can you be so sure? We know nothing about each other." "You're wrong," the young man declared. "For the past 5 years I've been working in the bank where your father has his account."

4) Poor Professor
One day, three old school mates met. They were remembering the tough old days they went through together as students in a JC. One is an entrepreneur, one a GLC CEO and one a professor in NTU. They decided to go for a ride in the entrepreneur’s Porsche. They zipped passed expressways and winding country roads and soon reached the Singapore Zoo and entered it. As they passed an elephant, the entrepreneur wanted to show off that despite the fact that he used to be at the bottom of the class and could not even qualify for a place in the university, was able to move and shake things. He suggested that "Why don't we prove who is the best among us?". The high and mighty GLC CEO thought that since he was the boss in a multi-billon dollar organization should have no difficulty in making things happen. The professor knew that since he had always been at the top of the class, none of them could beat him. So, they agreed.
Then the entrepreneur said "Let's make a test. Whoever can make this elephant laugh, he is the smartest". They all agreed and started.Being a pure logical strategist, the entrepreneur tried to make the elephant laugh by telling jokes (In this story, the elephant does understand English). Of course it stayed still.As a more practical guy, the GLC CEO tried to make funny gestures, and the elephant still stood firm.Now, it's the professor turn. Being a great thinker, he whispered something to the elephant, and it laughed at him while pointing its trunk at him. The other two were astonished.How come this professor beat them?So the entrepreneur said "OK, let's make another test. Let's make this elephant cry".So there they went again.The entrepreneur told sad stories;
The GLC CEO guy made sad gestures; And they failed again. Then, the professor whispered something again into the elephant's ear and it just cried, weeping and patting away.
This can't be, thought the other two.
So the entrepreneur said "OK, you've won twice. If you can win this test, we will bow to you. Let's make this elephant run".
He went and barked to the elephant orders to run. Of course, it stayed still.
The GLC CEO pushed the elephant and stabbed it with stake to make it run, it stayed still.
So., our professor came to it and whispered something again into its ear and the elephant ran and ran as fast as it could, as if it were scared to death.
The other two surrendered.
"OK, you're the best, pal. Do tell us your secret".
"Well" said the professor.

"The first time I made it laugh, I said 'Professor is the best job' "."When I made it cry, I told the elephant how much I get paid. I told him that the GLC CEO is paid 5 times what I am paid, and the entrepreneur makes so much money in a year that I need entire 5 lives to make as much"."And when I made it run scared to death, I said to it, 'Why don't you be a professor?' "
